About Chopstix Express

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Erie, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Pennsylvania run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 amβ9:30 pm. It is closed on Monday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (814) 868-8655. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is chopstixexpress.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Its Google rating is 4.1 out of 5 from 245 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
Erie is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Erie is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Half of the sushi tasted like crayon? Like a waxy maybe unwashed rice taste. Pretty much inedible. The sauce is good but didnβt make up for the sushi taste.

my go too after a shitty day. food is always fresh and delicious, and the folks that work here are great too. definitely order off their website for pickup though, way cheeper than any delivery apps.

I ordered the General Tsoβs chicken, and it tasted great! I also tried the Gyoza and scallion pancakeβboth were delicious. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Iβll definitely be back!

I used to rave about Chopstix but I donβt know if theyβve changed ownership or what but everything is different. Their crab rangoon was the best Iβve ever had in the tristate area. Now there is no flavor, just cream cheese. Their gyoza is different as well and their rock shrimp which was delicious is off the menu. All of the dishes my friend group ordered were different than before, and not in an improved way. Their prices have also increased dramatically. Iβm so disappointed as this was my favorite Chinese place of all time and now I have no reason to order from here again. What a shame, they used to be the best Chinese restaurant around.

My husband and I enjoy the food from here. Great prices and good food! We especially like the lunch special with the three sushi rolls that comes with the soup and salad. Great customer service, and we appreciate the portion sizes and attention to detail. My husband and I enjoy the food from here. Great prices and good food!
